Tailwheel checkout.

I love tailwheel aircrafts. Tailwheel training takes your stick and rudder skills to a complete different level. Fly with me for your tailwheel checkout and I will show you how real short-field landings are done. Bud Davidson has written a great article on tailwheel training.

Mountain checkout.

Flying into mountain airports is super fun. You can fly out on a Friday afternoon from San Francisco bay area and be at Truckee or Tahoe within an hour. But, mountain flying requires proficiency in mountain flying techniques. Before you venture out on your own, training is necessary in mountain flying techniques, do’s and dont’s of mountain flying and mountainous weather identification , hazards and avoidance techniques. Diamond checkout.

You always dreamed to have your own Diamond aircraft. The DA40, available either with a jet fuel or an AVGAS engine, is the smart choice. The durable composite airframe, ultra-low fuel burn and superb handling make the DA40 a great airplane for travel. It is also a great aircraft to get your private pilot certificate and instrument rating. I am insurance certified and can provide training in DA40.

Ferry services.
